Omega Tau Sigma (OTS) is a national veterinary fraternity that focuses on supporting DVM students through community service, social activities and professional development.
The Gamma Chapter of OTS was founded at the Ohio State University on November 25, 1911. The Gamma Chapter has flourished since its existence 109 years at the Ohio State University into a well known name among the veterinary students at the College.
We are proud to boast over 2,500 members graduated since our creation, and we are only one of few chapters that have a home strictly dedicated to supporting our chapter and cause.
OTS Gamma is proud to volunteer with many organizations around Columbus, both on and off campus. We volunteer services to the Franklin County 4H, the Ohio Rabbit House, many Franklin County soup kitchens, and are always looking for new ways to serve.
Each year we also have two large fundraising campaigns where we raise money for an organization of our choice. Some of our more recent selections have been Canine Companions for Independence, the American Brain Tumor Association, and the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.
